Client Collect is the first
software that is designed as part of a total accounts receivable management
solution. It was designed specifically for the legal profession
based on our years of working with law firms and what we have learned
that law firms need in order to manage receivables.
A surprising
number of law firms install accounts receivable management technology
systems, but either never use them or do not take advantage of their full
capacity as a strategic business tool to help increase revenue. Sometimes
the software is just too complicated. In other cases, firms are victims
of their own cultures, approaching their collection efforts with a plan
that does not yield results. They are unsure what information about their
receivables they need to gather and how to analyze it.
Client
Collect
is a sophisticated piece of software, but it is easy to use. It is a practice
management tool that not only provides accounts receivable management
solutions, but also manages the firm’s assets from the point at
which time becomes work in process until a receivable has been paid or
otherwise resolved.
Client
Collect was designed to help law firms analyze why work
is not being paid for and identify what steps need to be taken to systematically
manage each firm’s asset portfolio. It was intended to be easy to
operate by the staff and lawyers who use it on a day-to-day basis.
Client
Collect has far greater capabilities than just calendaring
and note taking. It is used by our clients to help firm leadership predict
cash flow, determine if and when clients will pay, identify which collection
methodologies will work best for which clients, and provide payment solutions
for different practice areas and client types. Client
Collect helps law firms think “outside the box”
when analyzing information and reports that it provides to help get a
firm’s arms around its receivables.
When a firm
chooses to use Client Collect,
we first listen to the firm’s needs and its plans for managing WIP
and A/R, and we offer suggestions on what type of information it should
be measuring and evaluating, then conform our system to address its needs.
Software
will not collect money for you, but when used effectively, it helps you
look beyond the dollars to better manage your information in order to
find solutions to collecting receivables. |
